These are speed boats you can hire them at various resorts

if you go to wdw web site to marina and watercraft rentals you will see all the resorts listed. cost is 32$ +tax for 30 mins.

They can be rented at the GF, the Poly, WL, the Contemp and at DTD.
There may be other locations but those I quoted are off the top of my head!

I'd think renting them for us on the water near MK/GF would be the most fun. That seems to be the largest area. Of course, it also has the most ferry boats too.

The ferries do worry me! Lol presuming if you hire at GF you could go over to the WL?

I'm not sure what routes are allowed. We rented a pontoon boat at DTD and had a proscribed route, so it may be the same in other areas.

Just stay away from the ferry boats and all should be well!

You have the most freedom with these little speed boats renting at GF, Poly, Contemporary or WL. You can pretty much go anywhere in Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake by crossing the water bridge.

No worries about the ferries. You are going faster then them.
