First Trip w/ A Friend...What Have I Missed?
Two weeks from today

This year, I've agreed to let Baleigh invite her friend Kaela to travel with us. We love her, she's like my second daughter.
My question is, what do I need to remember when traveling with someone else's child? Any tips, advice, warnings?
It's been such a smooth process so far that I feel like something is bound to go wrong at any moment! So any proactive advice would be greatly appreciated!

Re: First Trip w/ A Friend...What Have I Missed?
My first thought was the medical issue. Do they have some kind of temp. health proxy? That might be something to think about.
Maybe she could take her parent's credit card (that you could hang on to), in case of some sort of emergency? That might be awkward if they didn't offer it.
Small things maybe like how often do her parent's want her to keep in touch? Maybe you might want to make sure she calls each day? Are there rules as to what she can do, watch, ride? You don't want to get in trouble when the pictures come out

As long as she had a certified letter from the owner stating the specific person that could use the CC she would be OK Mick.

An understanding of who is paying for what, but you'll have covered that already.
Any special "meds" for any reason (if she gets a headache or upset stomach from the sun, what does she usually take for those minor complaints)?
Will it be ok for them to go off together alone? In the same park as you? To a different park? To the pool? They'll want some time together alone just because, eh?
