Help Me Decide

for those of you that have stayed off site near SeaWorld and Universal . As time gets closer to the wedding and our trip I'm beginning to get cold feet on staying with our friend for five nights . Even though, we were planning SW , Cocoa Beach and the casino ship , there are still two days we were just hanging at our friends house . I asked Rob about doing other things and I got nah, I have the pool . Jim doesn't really swim . Rob has been on vacation to Utah & Arizona . Jim is on vacation and does not want to sit idle and I agree .
Jim and I were discussing our plans . We have now decided to get a cheap maingate hotel for the first couple of nights . . Anyone have any suggestions ? How is Rodeway Inn ? It looks nice on the internet $35.00 a night . We need something nice , but inexpensive .
We are going to rent a compact car .
Our first day go to the Disney outlets and Davenport to have a look around .
We are going to buy a one day hopper for US and IOA . I should just buy a two day pass since its only a ten dollars difference for both . Not sure yet, but super to be going to Universal . We are going to go on the 1st and possibly the 2nd . Meeting our friend on the 2nd or 3rd for Sea World , and returning the car .
Afterwards, go to Robs for two nights and then on to WDW .

What area are you planning to stay in? I'm not a big fan of Rodeway Inn or the like. It depends on the area though.

Give me your dates and what your willing to spend and I will see what I can find.

that sounds good Johnie, looking for something between $40.00 - $50.00 a night . or less is good too . LOL
our dates would be August 31st to September 2nd , checkout probably 3rd, could be 2nd . Not Sure .
Why do you not like Rodeway ? Its the one in the main gate area , again unsure . This is all new to me . It is going to be fun trying to find our way around . LOL

Well we've stayed at the Econo Lodge one night on 192, it considers itself a maingate place as well and it was scary. Most of the places in the Lake Buena Vista area are good.

Rodeway is a PIT, Sister Tinker. Don't stay there even for free!

Go with Johnie's deal. That's an incredible price for any location, but especially Lake Buena Vista.

Country Inn is booked August 31st to September 3rd . I booked the extra day, I can always take one off . Rooms were filling up fast at that special . Thanks Again :hug:
