      May I have the envelope please...

      Forgive me but I must brag!

      My wife's son Allen lives in LA and does casting for TV shows. He works for Jeff Greenberg and has done the casting for several TV shows including "Ugly Betty" and the one they're currently working on, "Modern Family".

      When he calls home, Allen is all the time regaling us with stories from the set of "Modern Family". Imagine our surprise and delight several weeks ago when he called to inform us that they'd been nominated for an Emmy in the category of:

      Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series

      Spring forward to tonight. Now imagine if you will, our delight when tonight he called to inform us that they'd beaten out several other shows including "Glee!" and had received the 2010 Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series!


      Allen is going to try to get us some pictures of the Emmy this coming week if he can. When he does, I'll post them up here!

      I love Modern Family! I was thrilled to see Al Bundy (Ed O'Neil) back on the tube. I love the same-sex couple. Those guys are hilarious. Great comedic timing.
