Re: I'm a novice at this pool heating lark
when your body is hot the water will seem cold at first but as soon as your temp drops it will be fine, but everyone says you will not need it in august, pull the cover over and keep the temp in does the trick too

Re: I'm a novice at this pool heating lark
Depending upon which direction the pool is facing you may not need the heat on. If it's a southern exposure pool, then the August sun will take care of it quite nicely.
If the pool remains in the shade for the majority of the high sun hours, then you may need it to take the chill off. All depends upon your personal preference.
I want my pool warm. Very warm.
Our Ieuan has been known to swim happily in 65 degree water!
Strong, brave Welshman, he is!
All up to your preference.

Re: I'm a novice at this pool heating lark
You should be ok then. You'll get the high sun and the afternoon sun. That will make it nice for swimming when you return to your villa.
That's what ours is, and we love it.
Only thing to interfere is the afternoon rain. :sigh;Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Absolutely!
Never go near the water if you hear thunder or see lightning!
