Fantasmic to close in 2012?

Hiya

Has anyone else heard the rumor, cast members are saying that Fantasmic, will close for good following the Star Tours and Fantasyland upgrades. it is rumored that three new rides will replace the mountain, water, ect.
Considering that fantasmic has been cut a lot in the last year and is now down to just twice a week perhaps it's right?

Would you miss it? I know I would

I love fantasmic. You get to see quite a few rare characters on the boats. Love the finale too. I will always remember a chap shouting out "Mickey you're the man!" at the end of a show when Mickey magically appears on the mountain.

It's the only place I get to see my hero - Steamboat Willie. So, unless it is to be replaced with another fantastic show, I'd be upset.

I hope this is just a rumour. We make fantasmic a part of our trip every year. My daghter is now 11 and she still loves this show we always feel good after this show it brings back disney memories for all of us
