'Let the Memories Begin' castle projection test video

Here is a look at an actual test of the Cinderella Castle projection system to be used for the just announced 'Let the memories begin' campaign beginning in January 2011. Up to 500 images per day will be projected onto the castle each day using high-intensity projectors. A newly commissioned song will accompany the show.

I liked the characters, great idea but when the pictures of the families were shown it was rubbish

to be honest I dont really want to see the castle used like that :/ I'd rather see it with the lovely lights all over it as it is.

From what I gather not too many people are thrilled with this silly idea. Sometimes those "imagineers" at Disney are just not on the mark.

I would rather they paint it pink and call it a cake

I don't think this one's the fault of the Imagineers. I think this was probably one of those management decisions that was then foisted on Imagineering and they were told to "just make it work".

I don't think they'd come up with something quite so lame. It really takes a management mindset to do that!
