      do you get better reservations if you stay at the resort?

      Just wondered, if you stay at the resort that has a restaurant you want to book at, do they give you priority?

      Nope, that`s not the case.
      That`s one of the things that I find very annoying, being a guest at a WDW resort and having to go elsewhere to dine at times.

      I thinkt here should be a % of tables without ADR both for WDW guests, walk ins and peoiple staying at a particular resort...

      Another nope, not even if you stay in concierge as we found when staying at the Polynesian. The CMs there were not able to get us anything! We went to each restaurant and made our own ADRs and all was well, but did wonder what on earth the point of concierge was?

      BTW, when we were there at the end of July we were able to get tables at both Yak & Yeti and San Angel Inn within 5 minutes as walk-ins.

      WDW = 39 visits since 1979
      DCL = 3 cruises since 2002

      Been there, done that, going back
      2012 = Marriott Lakeshore Reserve - Food & Wine Festival (Oct)

      We've found that too, Disney Freak. Given the (sorry, but it is) STUPID new ADR system, you actually do stand a pretty good chance of a walk up on many restaurants if you go between 5 and 7 pm. Weird, huh?
