I don't think I would eat this, but it does look yummy.

The garlic toast was a little chewy but, overall it was pretty delicious.

Re: Mussels & a Leffe from Belgium

We didn't care for these at all when we had them (a weekend ago). However, their least favorite status was surpassed this weekend by the unbearably mush crabcake! ICK!!!!

Our favorites at the Food and Wine festival remain as: the escargot, the lettuce wrap from South Korea, the lamb slider from New Zealand, the scallop from New Zealand, and the polpettine from Italy!

The sausage and pretzel bread and spaetzle gratin were nice too...

Re: Mussels & a Leffe from Belgium

The sauce on the mussles was borderline "alfredo", as in too floury and creamy. I'm used to the FL coastal watery garlic & butter or tomato sauce. But, the mussles themselves were really good. And if you've never had mussles before (just like escargot), Epcot is the place to experience that. I actually like how they "dumb down" the food so it's still exotic in the average American's mind, but still palateable to their taste.

Agreed. These two items were very good. I also enjoyed the Leffe beer from Belgium.

Re: Mussels & a Leffe from Belgium

Met a couple from Belgium at the Belgium pavilion. They had the mussels and said that they were over cooked in their opinion. I tried them anyway and have to agree. The sauce however, was tasty to me. The bread did not get eaten.
