A few weeks back my friend from uni had a major problem with his macbook (through his own fault) it was 3 years old so well out of warranty. He took it to the genius bar to be repaired and because the part they where ordering took longer than the estimate they'd originally given him (they've had it for 20 days,) when he went to collect it they told him they'd cover the price and that the repair was completely free of charge!

It was £540 worth of damage, too!

He got it back today and was shocked, he'd already put a claim in on his laptop insurance and was just waiting on the bill to claim the money back. Luckily he had time to cancel it so his premium won't go up! Their customer service really is top notch, it's like being at Disney in their stores.

Well... considering that Steve Jobs is now the single biggest Disney shareholder and sits on their board, I suppose there's some logic to that statement!

I'd say the customer service is equal if not better than Disney's
