Re: Carribbean beach or coronado
Either actually.
I've not stayed at either one, so I'd like to try them both.

I've stayed at both. I picked Coronado. I like the food court. I like the feel of the resort. CB was nice too but it is HUGE. I wouldn't stay there again unless I was in a preferred building.

Re: Carribbean beach or coronado
I've stayed at CSR and wanted to stay at CBR, so it's a toss up!
I really liked CSR, except for the food court. Had very poor service there. Happily, many others love it. And from the photos I've seen, it appears they've renovated it a bit since I stayed there in 2003!
I do prefer the location of CBR to that of CSR. However, never had an issue with buses to/from CSR, despite the size of the resort.
There were several conventions when I stayed at CSR. Not a bad thing, although I suppose the food court and TS restaurant could be a bit busy at times. However, you don't see most of the convention attendees during the day, so the resort tends to be a bit deserted. Not a bad thing if you're having a quiet day at the resort!

Re: Carribbean beach or coronado
I'm in agreement with Taja (as usual
)
I liked the resort a lot, beautiful actually! We found the bus services was always busy with convention folks but other than that, fine.
HOWEVER the food court, having apparently been run by a non-disney company, lacked a certain something. It had a good choice, better than other places, but the service and the tip automatically added on to the whole meal did annoy me
I've had a wander round CBR grabbing photos for this site over the last year, and would have said I'd prefer CS BUT with the new pirate based rooms at CBR well I'd like to try them!
