SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment announced Thursday that it will lay off approximately 350 employees, including 129 in Orlando where the company has its corporate headquarters and three theme parks.

SeaWorld, which operates 10 theme- and water parks in five states, said the job cuts amount to less than 2 percent of its peak total workforce of 20,000, including part-time and seasonal workers. The company employs approximately 5,200 people in Orlando.

SeaWorld said it will alert affected employees over the next two days.
