how to get to busch gardens?

Hiya how do we get to busch gardens please?

we'd be coming from one of the disney hotels

Pretty easy actually. Probably about 1 to 1 1/2 hours driving time.

I beleive there are free buses provided - we got one years ago from a stop on the 192 the bus is free but they expect a tip

The problem with the bus is that it has limited hours and if you miss it, it is a LONG walk back to Orlando.

We catch the shuttle that they provide, we get it down by SeaWorld but there are a few pick up points. We left the park at 6.20pm (although they tell you they are going at 5.50), got there around 10.15ish and by the time 6pm rolled around we were more than ready to get on that bus!! Saying that though, we were 2 short on the way back, the bus driver waited until 6.20 and then went!

You have to prebook it. We got the number from guest services in our hotel

I should think the pre-booked bus is a great way to go! It's not a hard drive to Busch Gardens, but it can be a miserable one. Nice to leave the driving to someone else. Also, it's not in the greatest area of the "city" so not having to deal with driving through on surface streets is a good thing.

Being on the bus's schedule shouldn't be too bad of a thing, especially if you are planning on that, eh?

Busch Gardens should easily be done in the time allotted by the bus company. It's a fairly small park.

We've been there by the shuttle a few times and it's fine. Nicely air conditioned which was important in the summer.

I think we caught it from the premium outlet mall by downtown disney

We enjoyed the park, quite a difference from Disney and a fun day but certainly only a 1/2->3/4 day park for us.

We've only ever driven, but I agree with the others, it's only really a 1/2 to 3/4 day, so I would think you would have plenty of time of you go by shuttle. This is from someone that is too chicken to go on the fast rides though

It may be that you will have an early morning, but that's all part of day trips isn't it
