Steve Jobs - another medical leave
Word out today that Steve Jobs is taking another medical leave of absence.
No word on why or how long. Tim Cook will take over the day to day reins at Apple during Jobs leave. Tim is the same guy who took over for Steve during his 2009 liver transplant. Supposedly, Steve will still be involved in the major decision making.
Hold onto your hats Apple fans. Hope the ride doesn't get rough and that Monsieur Jobs is soon back on top of his game.

It's really sad. I remember watching one of the more recent key notes and thinking that he looked rather ill. Here's hoping he gets better ASAP

From a medical perspective it is frankly astonishing what that man has been through and survived.
his Whipples proceedure he went through is one of the biggest ops you can ever have, I have never seen anyone have one and live for more than a year afterwards and he had that prior to his liver transplant !!!
