iPhone 4 - Network Lost popup..

.. is driving me insane!!

At work we have a pretty ppor signal - ok I get that I don't need the phone telling me its lost the network every 20 seconds interupting whatever I am doing, app based etc.

Are there any work arounds / plans to sort this out do you know

Or am I alone in this

Just a thought Chris but have you considered turning on "Airplane Mode". That turns off all the radio stuff (WiFi as well as cell). That should shut it up!

You just need to remember to turn Airplane mode back off when you leave for the day.

Yeah it interrupts texts being sent and I use apps all the time at work, there are some great medical ones but every 20 seconds up pops that darned message

But he said "doing what I was doing, app based". I just figured he was playing "Angry Birds" and didn't want any distractions or interruptions!

Chris, saw some of your posts on the Apple Support discussion boards. Appears that you're not the only one having this problem. Also appears to be new "functionality" with IOS 4. However, Apple typically doesn't listen too well to the comments on the discussion boards. Too much noise. If you want to get more of Apple's attention, you need to file a bug report or enhancement request. You can do that here:

File a comment or bug report.

This generally gets lots more attention than the talk on the discussion board does. Just FYI.

I've never gotten a lost network popup but they sound very annoying, similar to the old 'Your credit is...' messages I used to get on PAYGO. They used to drive me insane because it would stop anything else such as calls or texts coming through!
