I used to live in Limassol in early 70's and sadly watched the Turks invade the island and ruin it. My dad was in the RAF and after being evacuated we were able to go back as dad got a house on the base at Akrotiri. Sadly he passed away there and is buried at Dekalia, have been back a couple of times but the island has changed too much from our fond memories of the island and the people.
Anyone going will love the island.
