Re: What is WDW like in June?
As a FL resident, it can be a little warm in the parks Apr.-Jun. but not broiling. Definitely try to go before all the schools are out (less crowded).
I went to DHS for Star Wars weekend last year (I think the last Fri. they were having it - 2nd week in June). I got there pretty much when the park was opening and it was soooo crowded because they were doing a SW skit at the entrance. It took probably 30 minutes just to get from security into the park (which is ridiculous normally at DHS). The park was getting really warm by noon. There aren't that many shady places at DHS for some reason.
I gave up and took the boat over to Epcot. It was a little cooler over there. I ate lunch at Rose & Crown (walked up and they seated me) - there was no one there. I hung out at Epcot until about 3pm and then took the monorail over to MK and spent the rest of the day there. I don't recall MK being that crowded. I got there after the afternoon parade crowd had dispersed so, it was nice.Gwen
