Planes- CONFUSED!
My tickets say that I'm flying on a Boeing 757 Jet. I'm flying from Manchester to JFK which seems a long flight for a one-row plane however the seat pitch does look a bit better which seems good!

However... judging by all the websites I've looked at to see what the in-flight entertainment is like, it seems the 757 has been retired from BA!!
Anyone ever been on the 757 for such a long flight?

Re: Planes- CONFUSED!
It's a BA plane, though which is why I'm confused! It's here on seat guru but on the BA website and wikipedia it is apparently retired

It will be in the BA livery I reckon. The BA one was used for Europe by the looks of things.

Re: Planes- CONFUSED!
Normally if it is booked though AA but a BA code share then it is a BA flight the same as if you book though BA and it is a AA code share it would be a AA plane. Normally it does say operated by BA or AA. If you go onto view trip or check my trip and put in your gal ref it will tell you everything.

Re: Planes- CONFUSED!
It is definitely a BA flight, I found that out when I had to enter my advanced passenger details on the BA website. One leg of the trip home is on an AA plane but the rest is all BA planes. I just don't understand how I'm supposed to be flying on a supposedly retired plane
