Kodak PlaySport Zx5
So anyone got an opinion on this? I know it's a preorder and I'm sorely tempted, when it says waterproof to 3m presuming it would be ideal for discovery cove? Daniel will be in charge of it for the holiday

That would certainly do the job at Discovery Cove, might have to get one myself.
Have you looked at the current model (Zx3) though, there are a few differences but it is nearly half the price.

Cool, the only differences are the new model is also dust proof, has macro function and easier social network sharing options.
It looks like the best general filming option is 720p 60fps.
Will be really interested to see what you think

Re: Kodak PlaySport Zx5
Not sure which model we used but I got very nice results from the camera in Puerto Rico and on our cruise. I would recommend it with one reservation....make sure you take time to be certain both compartment doors are REALLY closed.
Three teachers went to PR each of my buddies had one to use (they were purchased for science classes to use). One of the three failed the waterproof test on the reef. I attribute it to operator error but you never know.
I uploaded a video taken with the camera here:
