Disney will send one of its cruise ships to Texas in 2012, according to a report in the Houston Chronicle.

The newspaper reports that Disney will have its Disney Magic cruise ship sail 12 seven-night Western Caribbean cruises out of the Port of Galveston. The first sailing will be Sept. 22, 2012, according to the report.

The Magic is currently based at Port Canaveral. But it will move next year to make room for the Disney Fantasy, the second of two new cruise ships Disney is building.

Disney Cruise Line has a press conference Wednesday where it's expect to announced full 2012 itineraries.
