hints on using a camcorder at Disney

Im a total newbie to the camcordering world but we have a nice hd model now so I'd like to use it at Disney when we go

Any hints or tips on what to do other than just point it and hope ?

two things that can totally spoil your filming is constantly zooming in and out, so find a good place to shoot the film to minimise doing that. secondly, camera shake, so unless you have a very steady hand, id recommend a good light tripod

filming fireworks: a good tip is not to be too close. a very good place to film wishes say is the top of main st usa so you get the whole show without the need to keep zooming in and out

When I film a parade or show, I sit either on a seat or the curb with my elbow resting on my leg to reduce any shake.

Try not to film into the sun.

Don't sing along to the shows etc unless your voice is better than mine!!!!
