does an ipad work at disney?

I have a shiny new ipad

and it would be perfect to take instead of a laptop but would it work at the Disney resorts?

That depends. Is yours a 3G model or Wifi only? If it's got 3G, are you coming from the UK or here in the states?

For the Wifi only models, I think all of the Disney resorts have in room wired Internet now. Some of the deluxe resorts have WiFi also. Disney charges for it of course but I don't know currently how much it is. However, if you want to stay in one of the resorts that has wired only access, you can always make your own personal WiFi hotspot by getting something like an Apple Airport Express and just plugging the cable into it and plugging the Airport into the wall socket in the room.
