Do we still need resort mugs on the dining plan?

question possibly silly if we have the dining plan, do we get the resort mugs with that or do we need them anyway if we have the snacks and things for free anyway?

You get them with quick service dining for sure, not with the regular dining plan. I'm not sure about deluxe but I think you do! You don't need them but they're nice to have for the pool or to take back to the room.

Re: Do we still need resort mugs on the dining plan?

Hmmm... that raised a question for me also. So I checked all the Disney Dining Plans and guess what.

They all include the refillable resort mug.

One for each person on the dining plan. But they're only for use at your resort that you're staying at.
Pay no attention to that quote up there. That was my original post.

I went back and checked based on something Tinkfan said and found out that the mugs are NOT included on the basic, normal Dining Plan. All the others, they are.

Tom (... that's new. At least to me.)

That is new! We always had to pay OOP for them on the regular dining plan!

You know what TF? Your post made me look again. We've always had to pay for them before on the normal Dining Plan. And... after looking again, you're right. They're still not included in the normal Dining Plan. I must have missed that before.

      But how crazy is that?

They include the mugs with all of them except the normal dining plan. Guess they know which plan gets used the most don't they.

Tom (... mea culpa... I'll go back and edit my earlier post!)
