TF, we just stayed here in early May and had no issues with any of the transport (buses or boats).

I've stayed at POR 2 or 3 times. It's always been a lovely stay. We've always stayed in the mansions. I like the old plantation decor. There are also ceiling fans in the rooms, which is kind of unusual for a hotel room. LOL!
I like the grounds. The landscaping is pretty. The walkways around the property are nice. I enjoyed walking to the main hall from the rooms.
The main hall is really pretty, as well. I like the dining hall. It has a nice feel to it. The gift shop, as well.
I especially like the lounge. You can grab a nice quiet adult beverage there. There is also a perfomer that is fun for the kids, as well!Gwen
