I've seen some similar stuff. Have you ever had anyone do the Wine & Dine add on? I had one client that I thought would enjoy it as he has wine tasting at his home a couple of times a month. I had the California Grill and Citricos fax me their lists. He looked at them an he wrinkled his nose and said he'd wing it. maybe that's why Disney plans to drop it for 2012.

The best ever dining plan was the "Food n Fun" plan. You got everything up front and it worked like a checking account. Whatever you bought was deducted. Everything included including alcohol and gratuities. Any place that can swipe your KTTK and you were golden. If you had any credit left over many restaurants would sell you a bottle of wine to take back home. It was great and that's why it didn't last to long.

The new plan with different rates for different seasons... I don't know. It depends on the dining requests I get to see if they "qualify" for a dining plan. It's nice where you have some meals prepaid and you don't get the sticker shock when the folio is slipped under your door and you owe tons of money for what you charged to the room. But you shouldn't pay for what you are not getting which in my experience is many times the case.

No, I've never had anyone purchase the wine add on.

This past trip we used my TIW card, the mark ups on prices is ridiculous. It's almost worth it to get the DDP due to that factor. I imagine Disney is going to mark up prices again. Ticket prices are going up on the 12th.

What is the DP now? I thought it was like $43.99, that is a huge increase. I think that would end it for me. I really would have to do the math to see if there was any worth to it at all besides the cinvience. What do you think Johnnie?
