      iwork and office for mac...one more question

      I'm buying the imac today.


      I saw on amazon that iwork 09 and office for mac 2011 is cheaper on Amazon. Is that an okay route to get the products too? I'm pretty capable of installing software and I would save a good amount of money.

      Amazon will be just fine yep

      It's a little easier to buy from the new "app store" on your mac since it downloads,install and watches for updates for you (although the amazon versions will look for updates too).

      So yeah, go wherever is cheaper (and if youre using amazon PLLEEEASE click the forum link to use it )

      correct although many of us are expecting an iwork 11 to be announced around the time Lion comes out since I'm SURE it'll be a good fit for the cloud services they announced (but all thats just guesswork)
