Re: Is Disney hollywood studios worth a full day?
When it first opened, absolutely not. Now, however, depending on the season and how much you want to do it could be an entire day. During the Christmas Season, the Osbourne Lights are a MUST do and you can only see them effectively at night. There is also Fantasmic, again only at night. Plus there are lots of other attractions that can take some time to do.

Re: Is Disney hollywood studios worth a full day?
If its your first visit then I think it will keep you busy for the day. As John said at certain times of the year there are other things on to see and Fantasmic is a must

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.

Re: Is Disney hollywood studios worth a full day?
we went last year and as it was not really one of my favourites to go and see, i was looking forward to MK and AK but i really enjoyed it
i enjoyed it more than AK but not as much as MK.
we had lunch at the sci fi diner so that broke up the day [we pre booked it] we enjoyed the stunt shows, so yes i think a full day worth a full day especially with children.

Re: Is Disney hollywood studios worth a full day?
I remember being there in June 1989 about 6 weeks after it first opened. We waited in line for The Great Movie Ride for about 2 hours. The Backlot Tour was just about as long of a wait. Back then the Backlot Tour actually took some time to get through and you actually would break for lunch before you went on the walking portion.

Re: Is Disney hollywood studios worth a full day?
Yes I think it is more than one day. But what is one day to you? To me a day is 10 tourng hours. Do you want to be in one park for ten hours? I always recommend a hopper pass. I break all the parks in an AM segment, midday segment and a PM segment.
AM segment is opening a park and usually incluse the Early Morning option. Midday option starts abot 1- 2 and includes any events such as parades that only run mid to late afternoon. Then the evenng includes evening magic hours and parades or fireworks. So I like to mix or match my day to get the most from my vacation each day and guarantee I see everything that is offered.

Re: Is Disney hollywood studios worth a full day?
yes and no...
I think it depends on who's going and what you like to do
If you like thrill rides you cant miss rock and roller coaster and tower of terror
If you like shows the Beauty and the Beast show and Indiana Jones
If you have kids with you.. the muppets 3d, toy story mania and honey I shrunk the kids playground
so, it really depends on who's going and what you like to do
