Captain's Log Day 2
Sorry i missed yesterady, but we just set anchor at AKL and all. Weather so far has been rainy in the afternoon. We arrived quicker than planned so stayed Friday in Buena Vista Palace, across from Downtown Disney. it was nice. Checked in the AKL yesterday...so very nice. Got a free upgrade to a bunkbed room (little scallywags like that). So far it is like Wilderness Lodge, just set in Africa...pretty cool. We hit MK (15 minute bus ride from the lodge) and ate Garden Grill in Epcot (12minute bus ride from the lodge); buses every 20 minutes. Both parks were surprisingly empty. Garden Grill food was good, just glad it was on the dining plan as my bill was $170 for 3 adults and 1 child. More adventures to come...

Garden Grill's food was good. Kids were not too impressed...except for the characters of course. For me I like my restaurant to be still, the rotating got on me nerve. I wasn't impressed for the amount of money it ended up being.

Re: Captain's Log Day 2
Yes, Keith. It is on the way to the old AP lounge.

Thanks for the review. We've never eaten there, either. Never quite looked too interesting to us.
Maybe one day.

There is an AP lounge? We've been AP holders for many years and never knew that. What is in it?
