Rumor: Will Apple replace Ridemakerz in the old Virgin Store at DTD

With the news that Ridemakerz is moving over to Marketplace, the rumor that Apple might be interested in taking over the site is beginning to rumble again.

Now I know this will be a huge pull for visitors and locals, but I'm not sure that I can really see it happening

What do you think?

It's a shop where you can build your own remote car or truck. You get to pick out every single part and then build it in the store. You can have a birthday party there as well. It's really go for the boys young and old

Thanks Wendy. We don't make it over to that side of DTD very often. Once PI closed we usually stick to the Marketplace.

That place looks pretty cool. Where is it moving over in the Marketplace?

Actually, I can see this happening. They've got 3 of them in the general area but they're mostly north east of Orlando. They might close either the one at Millenia or the Florida Mall in favor of DTD. Putting one at DTD would let them showcase the store like they've done for the 5th Avenue store in New York.

I think it would be a really good idea.
