Over the hill, and on the road

four ladies over 60 are off on a road trip, in two weeks to NC. they plan to stay at Beech Mountain Resort for a week, in which time, my handsome son will sent one night with us. He can only join us for the weekend. This is a pre report, or a warning that you might want to stay off the road, as we will be on it ,starting August 17, at dawn.

I'll be in NC myself, all next week. Not on vacation though. :sigh;

You'll be taking photos,yes GrammiePo? We'll want to see evidence of all the fun, and that handsome son of your's!

I don't know where Beech Mountain is, but if it's any where near the ocean, prepare to eat some wicked shrimp and grits! It's the only way I'll eat grits, mind!

Next week, darn, we don't leave till the 17th.
We will have a good time, laugh about nothing is the way we go. Beech Mountain is in the northern part of NC, right next to Tenn.,but I bet we still find grits, don't mind them with eggs for breakfast.
No we will be driving till we are beat then stopping for the night. we have four drivers so we could but this is a fun thing, so why push it?

Only my son and his wife. Why spoil the surprise? But thought I should let my friends on the board know so they can stay off the roads.
