July or October

At the moment I have a villa booked for July next year, but I'm worried it will be too busy and hot for my youngest.

Originally, we were thinking about October so I got permission from their schools to take them out for a week to coincide with half term. My partner wasn't sure that it would be warm enough to use the pool so I changed it to July.

What do you think, the weeks in October are still free, would it be better in July or October?

no question it has to be october. july is rated as the wettest month in orlando, hot and humid as well. ive only ever been in oct and you'll love it then its very hot usually, shorts and t shirt weather we are always in the pool and at the water parks too

Haven't been in July but have been in August and it is extremely hot and humid - October is lovely, definitely hot enough to use the pool but not as hot and humid as the summer. It's a lovely time to visit - Halloween party at Magic Kingdom which is fantastic, The Food and Wine festival at Epcot. When we were able to take the children out of school it was always October now we have to go in August which is fine but if I had the choice I would always choose October

im not good with very hot, stcky and humid weather. it is bad enough when you are this hot on holiday when all you do is flop by the pool, but doing all the theme parks, no way. i know people do, everyone is different and they might not have an oppurtunity for going another time. it would have to ocober, lovely and warm but not wet and humid

We've only been at the end June/beginning of July and it was very wet, I would choose October if it was me, the humidity is not so bad and there is a lot to do

I've been there in July many times and I would totally jump to October if I could.

It's certainly warm enough to use the pool in October for the most part. Yes, it's hotter in July, but there are frequent (can be daily) thunderstorms that interfere with swimming more than the October weather will.

October is warm (can be quite hot) but with less humidity there is less frequent thunderstorms.

October is the nicer weather wise of the two options.

Another vote for October here.
That said, we were there during June and part of July this year and we hardly saw any rain at all and the humidity was much lower than we had experienced before at a similar time of the year...it was very hot though, in the 90`s most of the time.

If given the choice, I'd choose October too....if only for the halloween entertainment!
