      Welcome to secrets!!
      Our first trip was in October and the weather was wonderful. Since then the next 3 trips were in february which at times was just as cold as the UK. Next year we are going in October again and we are looking forward to doing some of the water parks as well as the usual parks.
      We rarely stay on site always opting for villas or timeshare apartments and have never found the drives to the parks busy (might of had something to do with going in february though)

      Hi Terri,

      A hearty welcome to DS. I think October would be a fantastic time to go. Hurricane season winding down, it is a little cooler and there is the wine festival. All good!

      We have gone over the Thanksgiving period a few times and while the weather had been great, the crowds creep up. So good luck planning, have a great trip. Oh take lots of pictures.
