e-readers with internet access
As awesome as I am sure an iPad is, I just don't want to spend that kind of money on one. I DO want an e-reader that I can get on the internet with a bit, check my email, and mostly read books. I was doing a little research and it looks like the Nook Color may be my best bet with what I want and affordability.
I'm going to WDW on the 23rd of this month. I am taking a class and I will need to get on at least once during that time frame to post to a classmates discussion post. I do not particularly want to take my laptop but I will if need be. My question to all of you tech genius' is this: is there a way to hook up the ereader to Disney's internet? I know Disney has the cable you need to use. And I know the ereader has wifi capability. Is there anyway the two can meet?
I'll take the laptop if need be cause I have to do my homework. Thanks!I am a travel agent with The Magic For Less Travel. Please private message me if you'd like help booking a trip!

Re: e-readers with internet access
Im not the most knowledgeable on the nook so hopefully someone else knows more but I've always been told the internet access really is poor on it. whether its SO poor you couldnt bear it even for a quick post to a discussion or not I dont know :/
You'd need to either use WIFI in a lobby somewhere or convert your in room cabled internet to wifi perhaps using an apple airport express like I do.
To be honest I'd use the nook for ebooks as it was intended and take the laptop too

I just didn't want to take so much stuff
I'm doing my actual homework before I go but I have to wait for others to post so I can respond.
What is the card? Is there a monthly fee on it? How does that work exactly? And should I get one for my laptop anyway?

Re: e-readers with internet access
Not sure if this is a dumb question, but does your phone have computer access so you can just post the response and move on?

No problem
I'm impressed with people who can do that though!

Re: e-readers with internet access
I think it takes a lot of patience and stubbornness. While I have the latter, I don't have the other.
