Grand Floridian Cafe
Has anyone ever eaten at the Grand Floridian Cafe? We've booked it for lunch on Christmas day with the thought being, the parks may be too crowded for our liking, and I find the GF lovely during the holidays. We thought we might do a bit of a "holiday monorail tour" and then have lunch at the GF.
Thoughts?

Re: Grand Floridian Cafe
Hey that is another great idea. The GF is so beautiful that time of year. Lots of fond memories of sitting in the grand lobby listening to the piano play christmas songs...oh that will be so cool.
But to your question...don't think we had eaten there that is. We ate several times at 1900 Park Fare. I have nothing but good things to say about that.

Re: Grand Floridian Cafe
We have eaten at the GF Cafe oodles of times, although mainly for breakfast when we are staying at the resort.
We have had dinner there on a couple of occasions though, and although the menu is not as comprehensive as at the signature dining places, nevertheless there is a wide variety of choices and we can`t complain about the service.
Getting a window seat will give you a good view of the gardens which look quite pretty after dark with all the lights etc.
