A section of Storybook Circus in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort will open in early 2012, including a Dumbo The Flying Elephant attraction that will take guests on clockwise rides for the first time anywhere. It is the upper of the two “Dumbo's” depicted in the rendering. The existing Dumbo The Flying Elephant will be refurbished and relocated from its location near Cinderella Castle. It’s all part of New Fantasyland, which will nearly double the size of the famous land — the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom history.

I wonder if this is why Dumbo is closing for a long refurbishment in January
