All Disney Parks to fly flags at half staff this week in respect for Steve Jobs
Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger has ordered flags at Walt Disney World and other company properties around the country to fly at half-staff in memory of Steve Jobs.
The Apple co-founder and longtime CEO of Pixar Animation Studios died Wednesday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, he was 56.
At the time of his death, Jobs was Disney's largest single shareholder, with a 7 percent share in the company. He also served on the Walt Disney Company's board of directors.
Both U.S. and Disney flags at all Walt Disney World parks, resorts and other areas will be lowered to half-staff from October 6 to 12, to observe Jobs' passing.
"We are saddened by his passing and are grateful for the impact he has had on our lives and company," said Disney CEO Bob Iger.
If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
