Berns Steakhouse Tampa

I'm really pretty tempted to try Berns Steakhouse but it's still a pretty long drive from Disney.

Is it pretty easy to find? More importantly I guess, is it worth the drive Any dish recommendations??

Oh... Keith. This is something I really think you need to do!

I've only been once in my life. And that was with my parents more years ago than I care to recall. But I can tell you this... it's probably number one on my bucket list!

Bern's was probably one of the two best meals I've ever had in my life. The other being V&A. Spend some time on their website. Look over their menu. Then you tell me if you think it would be worth the trip.

As far as getting there is concerned, yes, it's a bit of a drive. But it's not a bad one. Here's the Google map that'll get you there. The trickiest bit would be after you get off the highway in Tampa on Armenia. Gotta keep in mind which way the one way streets run.
It's about an hour and 15 minute drive.

Keith I went there once years ago myself, when my cousin was living in Tampa. It was a marvelous meal. Yes it is a bit of a drive, but IMHO, well worth the drive. If you want to enjoy some drinks with dinner you could always book a hotel for the night and come back to Orlando the next day.

2. Hire a limo to take you over to Berns in Tampa.
3. Then another limo to take you back to the Don after dinner.
4. Next day, you checkout and drive back to WDW.

You could also do Ybor City while you are over there. It's a fun place, by night...

There are boutique hotels in Ybor City, too (but I do think Don Cesar would be way cooler)!

Not been to Berns, so can't comment there.

Ricardo took me and my DW to Berns for dinner on one of our recent trips.
It was quite an adventure as Ricky had downloaded the driving directions from a website [Mapquest?], and I was acting as his sat nav, telling him when to turn left or right etc.
One thing I would say Keith is that you drive through what seems to be a "dodgy" part of Tampa and Ricky locked the car doors as we were in the area!
Berns is located towards the Orlando side of Tampa so you won`t have to negotiate driving through Tampa per se, and they have a valet parking facility which is quite a blessing.
I must say that it was one of the best steak meals that I have had....think V & A`s, but a darned sight less expensive.
