I remember reading somewhere that there would be character meals starting in November

Can anyone confirm this? According to Disney, there are only characters for breakfast.

The lunch doesn't start until the 4th December Mari. It sounds like it will be with Donald, Daisy and Pals.

I can't say for the lunch/dinner menu, but the breakfast was SO good We loved it!

I honestly would prefer to have lunch there instead of breakfast, because there's a 2 hour time difference so.. say 9am Orlando time would be 7am Mexico City time, plus 1 hour to get from the hotel, we would have to leave at 6am our time so if lunch is available, that would be WONDERFUL!

They are definitely going to character lunch.
I'm friends with one of the waitstaff and they are not happy about it. LOL! I guess it's total chaos in there, not as organized as some of the other character meal venues. Now with back to back character meals, it will be several hours in a row of chaos. Maybe they'll improve the crowd control with the lunch. We'll see.

Just an update on this thread

We ended up having a super early lunch at 11:55,which for us was breakfast

We were still offered the breakfast juice (very similar to Boma's) and since they were changing out the buffets, we were able to enjoy both the breakfast and the lunch one

The wait was pretty long, we werent able to see Donald on our way in because they had quite a backup, but were told after breakfast we could get in line for pics, we didnt because when we came out the cm said we had "missed our chance" when going in... so if this ever happens to you, either get in line and wait or make sure you remember the name of the cm who told you you could do it afterwards!

The food was delicious, character interaction was pretty good, the place was PACKED, but they kept putting fresh stuff in the buffet.. lots of indian arab food.. pita, cous cous, curry, really nice

The kids got to follow Mickey around the place with maracas, which they liked, but we found the restaurant a bit crowded for dancing around with maracas, especially since its a buffet and people are walking back and forth with plates filled with food
