Snow White Attraction to Close at Walt Disney World in February 2012

It is common knowledge that the Snow White Attraction will be closing permanently in order to make way for the Princess Fairytale Hall where guests will be able to meet and greet with their favorite Disney princesses.

There is now a potential time line for the closure of Snow White’s Scary Adventures of February 2012. If this is the case, it is likely to be towards the end of the month, after the relocated Dumbo re-opens at its new location.

Snow White’s Adventures opened with the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in 1971. Snow White was eventually added to the attraction to eliminate the confusion. The adjective ‘Scary’ was also later added to the attraction’s name to qualify the experience for the bulk of Fantasyland’s audience.

The film will be represented in the New Fantasyland Expansion with the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster, which will be strictly from the point of view of the film’s seven dwarfs and feature a unique, swinging ride vehicle.
