What's new then?
I have to be honest and confess that it has been so long since the last trip that I kind of began to take less and less interest in all things Disney because we never knew when the next trip would be.
But now we have a countdown and I'm seeing references in posts to things I'm not aware of.
So what is new in Disney since 2003? And how do you rate it? And is there anything slated to open in the near future? And has anything gone?

Re: What's new then?
I know it's not as profound as a new ride or anything but for me it's the lights on the castle. I'm a night owl and I love disney at night, seeing this for the first time just made me gasp

Re: What's new then?
Spaceship Earth has been nicely refurbished as has Haunted Mansion. The changes to Spaceship Earth are far more noticeable than those to HM (for those of us who are not total HM devotees)!

Price of strollers have made them last resort items. Buy a cheapo and leave it behind. You'll be further ahead. (Won't need one for Steven, but just saying).
Many new food selections at counter service places. WDW is trying to improve the choices in selection and options. There are whole grain breads now, apple/fruit slices for children instead of french fries, etc. You can still get the traditional choices, but you have to substitute them in. The menus default to the healthier choice.
New babies at AK.
But that is always the case.
You just have to know where to look!

Re: What's new then?
Oh the new Toy Story attraction at DHS is wonderful! :smiley4: You all will love that!!!
The menu selections vary from counter service to counter service of course, but there are bona fide sandwiches (like tuna on whole grain with lettuce, etc) and chicken that is real, not processed into squares. Nice selection of salads. You can acutally get veggies into yourselves now.
I'm not super good on the menus as we don't often eat at counter service, but I did notice the new changes on a recent visit.Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!
