Wicked
Wicked tickets for our trip are on sale from Monday. I'm going to try and book straight away from work if I can get a few minutes.
Can't afford the best seats but hopefully will get somewhere decent.
Anyone here seen Wicked in New York?
I was in two minds to book this.

Re: Wicked
Yes it's fantastic!!! I've seen it in both London and NY and they are completely different experiences. The Gershwin theatre is large spacious and modern, I would think any seat would offer a reasonable view because it is so spacious compared to London theatres.
I have seen lots of musicals and loved most of them but Wicked is by far my favourite!

Re: Wicked
I do so love this play. I recommend it all the time.
As far as seats, a mom of one of my students was the set designer for the NYC show and when we went the first time, she picked our seats...she considered them the best seats in the house. Interestingly enough, they weren't up close, but just past center. I wondered about that at first, until the show began....the set is so engaging and so large, that you need to be set back a bit to get the best perspective and take it all in. All that to say, I think you'll enjoy the show from WHERE EVER you sit
If you haven't already, grab the soundtrack and give it a listen

Re: Wicked
We saw the national touring company and I think the Elphaba was the original one from Broadway. It is a pretty cool show.

Re: Wicked
Tickets for our date became available yesterday and I was there ready

Simply couldn't afford the first 10 or so rows at around $300 each. We did get the first row of the mezzanine upstairs though
