      Animal Kingdom losing Meet and Greet Characters at Rafiki Planet Watch

      Word is out that in December, Disney’s Animal Kingdom may be losing some of its meet and greets, and with that, one of the classic Disney characters.

      It sounds as if Jiminy Cricket and Pocahontas will be leaving Rafiki’s Planet Watch, which is a shame as this is the only place you can meet Jiminy Cricket and also Terk, along with Lilo and Stitch are also set to be removed.

      The Adventure Begins welcome show is also set to end in December.

      These changes seem to coincide with the introduction of the new character lunch offering at Tusker House, which begins on 4th December 2011.

      There is no word from Disney whether there will be any new additions as replacements.
