New Year at Epcot
Keith is ready in the UK Pavilion at Epcot

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
.................

Re: New Year at Epcot
Well back at the hotel thank goodness

Seeing in the new year at EPCOT was something I'd always wanted to do and it was wonderful to celebrate at the UK then US and to see all the countries have their own celebration at midnight.
The park was definitely jumping with all the music and dancing.
Having said that, having dont it once I don't know that I'm in a hurry to do it again
so so packed and pretty much being herded from place to place with all the ropes and lines.
So hurray for the experience but I think it's back to early December or October for halloween for me

Re: New Year at Epcot
Absolutely agree Keith!

Having done New Years in MGM Studios in the old days, I understand the crowded bit perfectly.

Re: New Year at Epcot
It is an extremely busy time, isn't it?
We still like to stop by EPCOT (although with Herself's family here this year we didn't get the chance) on NYE, just to have a touch of the chaos.
Makes us feel like we've been to a party.
Then we return home and have our own quiet celebration.
I think it's really nice though, that you had the chance to experience the whole Christmas week "thing." This year seems to be hugely busy, for a much longer time than in other years. Often on Christmas Day and NYE (night) the parks will close but it's happened several time this week and that is quite unusual.
Everyone here to try and catch a glimpse of our Keith, I'm sure!
