Thanks folks!

Of course, I just got on the internet just now to see this. Seems my DW and I woke up this morning and went to check our emails and such only to discover that we didn't have an internet connection. Nor cable tv for that matter. Called our cable provider only to have them tell me:

You're an idiot. There's no problem in your area.

So, DW and I went out to the store for a bit and when we got back, there's cable company trucks all over the neighborhood. Stopped and asked if there was a problem and they said:

Yes, the whole neighborhood's out. We'll have you fixed back up in a jiffy.

Now, tell me again who's an idiot?




Now, as far as what I've gotten. Here a little something that I got that you'll probably appreciate Chris:

Additionally, I've gotten the Steve Jobs biography and two sets of very interesting DVD's from my good friend Mr. Slowhand hisself. Thanks Terry! Also, thanks to Sue for the lovely card. Very impressive.

The DVD's came in handy this morning since our cable was out and we were unable to either watch TV or get on the internet. So, we plopped down in front of my computer and took a bit of a video tour of England while we had our coffee and breakfast. Still have Scotland, Ireland and Wales to go as well as something to do with cars (lovely Morris Minor on the cover BTW). All courtesy of our own Terry. Course, now I want to get over there and see everything for myself more than ever!

I've still got 2 more presents to open yet but my DW is rationing them out over the course of the day.

And of course, my cake is currently baking in the oven. To be consumed later today.

So, many thanks to all of you for thinking of me today. It's so nice to count you all as friends!
