Re: Age Check?
You know what, the people checking you in really don't care how old you are and are not going to check your ID. I do say honesty is the best
however when I stayed at the Allstar music one time the lady kept asking me at the counter if I needed a fridge for medication and I kept saying no I don't have any meds and she kept nodding her head yes you do so finally I clued in and agreed with her since she insisted so much. Later I realized that there is an extra 50 dollar charge for a fridge unless you need it for medication. We travelled last may with our 16 year old who could easily pass for older and really they didn't care. They only ask for ID of whoever the reservation is under and you my friend don't even have to go up to the counter.Anyways you and your mom have to live with your little deception and not anyone on here so I guess do what ya gotta do.

Re: Age Check?
Hmmmm, this is my first post on this board and I don't want to ruffle any feathers, but when we "were on a budget" 15 years ago, we stayed at an offsite hotel because we could not afford to stay with Disney. Maybe that's the way to save money?

We always stay offsite too, id rather have 2 weeks offsite than 1 week on which is what it would come to for us

Re: Age Check?

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.

We've only stayed on site once and it's very unlikely we will ever stay again. I actually prefer to get away from everything Disney at the end of the day
We prefer to go self catering, one room for 2 weeks can get a bit too much for me
