      Disney Fantasy is floated out of Dry Dock


      The Disney Fantasy has left Meyer Werft's covered building dock today. This took place around mid-day when she was floated out of the covered hall, which has been her home, to a berth alongside the yard's pier.

      There are still a few tests and trials to be performed while the she is in the harbour, and also there is still some work onboard, including the installation of the mast which has to be completed.

      The Fantasy is scheduled to be taken to the North Sea in about two weeks, but this will be dependant upon the weather and tidal conditions on the river Ems.

      Delivery of the ship to Disney Cruise Line will take place as planned in Bremerhaven on 9 February 2012.
