Busch Gardens Tampa present the Real Music Series

The Real Music Concert Series returns to the Stanleyville Theater from the 18 January 2012 to the 24 March 2012 and presents notable names from music’s most memorable eras. From swingin’ big bands to sock-hop era idols, the lineup features something for everyone.

Shows are held at 11.30am, 1pm and 3.30pm from Wednesday through Saturday with swing, blues, jazz, pop and rock and roll.

This year the acts will be:

• The Terry Myers Orchestra with The Swing Sisters - January 18-21
  
• The Glenn Miller Orchestra with the Diamonds - January 25-28
  
• Tony Orlando - February 1-4
  
• Frankie Avalon - February 8-11
  
• The Osmond Brothers - February 15-18
  
• Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone - February 22-25
  
• The Ventures - February 29-March 3
  
• Rita Coolidge - March 7-10
  
• The Grass Roots - March 14-17
  
• Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis, Jr. - March 21-24

What an odd lineup. The first two are big band era entertainment. All the others were pop favorites of one form or another.

Strange combination. At least to me.
