Re: Illuminations... where to watch it from?
we ate at garden grill when we went to epcot easter 2010. we loved it. then we went to find a spot to watch illuminations, we were sitting down on a bench, which was grea but we possibly were not in the best viewing spot. i dont think it matters where you are for the fireworks because we saw those ok but the earth/globe was on the other side of the lake, but you could still see it to get the effect, we were just glad to be sitting down

We tend to get a good location near to the bridge in-between the UK and France which we have always found to be less crowded than some other areas around the lake.
It never ceases to amaze me though why folks clammer to get a spot right by the lake as 99% of the "action" takes place up in the air!

im not sure where we were when we watched it - it was a few years ago though! I think we were sitting on some steps, there were alot of people there - it turned out to be a good place in the end, we werent aware of this at the time we were just desperate to sit down somewhere!!

Re: Illuminations... where to watch it from?
The best place to watch Illuminations is in the WS... but pay attention to the direction of the wind! You will not want to be downwind of the fireworks "exhaust." It can get pretty thick and heavy and obscure your view, so select a place that won't pose that problem.
Look for trees to block your view (Morocco tends to have that problem). If you select a very popular place, consider waiting out the first rush of the crowd to leave. It gets pretty chaotic at the end.Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!
