I do like the Idea of Shipping your bags ahead of time. Id always recommend a Full Service Air Line when traveling with a schedule. I have worked and grown up in the Air Line Industry long enough to have seen what can happen during bad weather and such to people flying the Low cost Carriers. Southwest / AirTran can be about as helpful as a bag of rocks in many cases. A full service Air Line has many more options at their disposal to get you to your destination.
