New here, so....hi!
Traveling to WDW soon with hubby and 3 boys...haven't been in a few years. This time we're staying at the POR...any advice or helpful hints regarding it?

to Disney Secrets. There are lots of folks here to help you with your planning. As Tom says about POR, it is also our favorite. And yes Bob is not to be missed. You also might want to take a trip over to POR's sister resort POFQ and try their beignets. The only thing missing is chicory coffee from making it a true New Orleans type treat.

Welcome to Disney Secrets! POR is a very popular resort! They have a lovely food court, the ferry to DTD, and a nice on site restaurant. It's a pretty resort to walk around, too.

I am going back to the POR for the 3rd year it is a great resort. Love the boat trip to DOWNTOWN DISNEY.Great entertainment at PIANO BOBS and ELLIOT DYSON at FQ

Although I am excited to try another Disney resort, I wished for a more
" Mickey" atmosphere somewhere in the room. No cute Disney soaps, pics....and I heard there might be a chance we might not even get a "Mickey" shaped towel. But, I'll be okay (LOL). I have to remember, I am still at Disney!!

I can't answer about the soaps etc as it's been a long time since I stayed on site, but as you say, you will still be in Disney amongst the Disney Magic
